PERENCANAAN DISTRIBUSI TEH DALAM KEMASAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BAUMOL-WOLFE

Abstract
The objective of this research was optimalization of tea distribution from PTPN VI factory to distributors at Padang city. Baumol-Wolfe was used to solve the problem because this method considers the warehouse cost for analyzed. Shortest Route Method and Linear Programming were integrated into this method to get the optimal solution. The results showed that total distribution cost was Rp. 43.422.220,- which is the distribution only from PT. Danau Kembar. Results also pointed out that Teluk Bayur warehouse only fulfill the demand from Bandar Buat, Gaung and Lubuk Begalung. While Khatib Sulaiman warehouse fulfill all the demand except from Bandar Buat and Gaung. Especially for Lubuk Begalung, 70.6% of demand was fulfill from Khatib Sulaiman warehouse while 29.4 % from Teluk Bayur warehouse.
