PEMILIHAN PENUKAR PANAS ALIRAN SILANG DENGAN VARIASI SUSUNAN DAN PENAMPANG PIPA
Modification and development on heat exchanger are most applied in field aplication which more concerns in ability of the heat exchanger itself to gain high heat transfer and effectivity. By concerning charactristics happening to the heat exchanger, it can be concluded which the best heat exchanger is. In this research, the type of heat exchanger used is cross flow heat exchanger-rectangular fin with flattenned and circular tubes which are arranged alignment and staggared. The research is done by flowing hot water with 60 oC temperature and then being blowed by a blower. Air and water flow rate going through the heat exchanger are varied by arranging blower and pump opening. From the research, it can be concluded that flattenned tube-staggered array heat exchanger is better than other. If it is compared with the lowest point., it will be gained better points i.e, about 754.18 watt in heat transfer and 62.06 pa in pressure drop.
