Abstract

Feasibility study of PLT small hydro will be conducted at Jorong Pinti Kayu, Nagari Sariak Alahan Tigo, Kecamatan Hiliran Gumanti, Kabupaten Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The research background is not yet fulfilling the electricity needs of the Kabuten Solok community, still seem to have 5151 houses, including Nagari Sariak Alahan Tigo, not electricity access. Analysis conducted on the economic aspects of using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), payback period and sensitivity analysis. With NPV greater than zero, the IRR is greater than the rate of investment and the payback period is reached before the age of the investment plan is achieved then the investment project feasible. The results of sensitivity analysis also produce values that are appropriate for this project.
