KESALAHAN BERBAHASA INDONESIA PADA MEDIA SPANDUK` DI KECAMATAN TAMPAN KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the forms of Indonesian language errors on the banner media in
Tampan Regency, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods.
The data of this study are words containing errors in Indonesian on banner media in Tampan Regency,
Pekanbaru City. The steps taken in analyzing data are: (1) collecting banner media containing language
errors, (2) analyzing errors based on aspects and types of errors by paying attention to language rules that
include spelling, sentence structure, and diction, (3) explaining language errors in data that have been
analyzed, and (4) make a report about the results of research. Based on the analysis and discussion of data,
there are still many errors in Indonesian language found in banner media in the Tampan District of
Pekanbaru City which include: First, language errors in terms of (1) spelling, such as errors in the use of
punctuation, word writing, and use of letters, (2 ) diction of use that is not appropriate to the context; and
(3) sentences that do not meet the requirements of effective sentences.
