ANALISIS CAMPUR KODE DALAM NOVEL NEGERI DI UJUNG TANDUK KARYA TERE LIYE

Abstrak

This research is entitled Code Mixing Analysis at novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk written by
Tere Liye. The problems in this research are how to mixing the code and its functions in the novel
Negeri di Ujung Tanduk written by Tere Liye. The purpose of the research is to find out the code mixing
and code interfering functions that there are in novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye. The method
is used in this study is descriptive method refers to qualitative research, which is describing the mix
form of the code and its functions intern in the novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk written by Tere Liye. The
analysis in this research reviews a Sociolinguistic Theory that focuses on code mixing. Based on data
analysis in novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk by Tere Liye found mixed Indonesian and English code in the
form of dialogue between characters and story script. The result of the research obtains the insertion
of mixed code words, phrases, idioms, and baster.
