Abstrak

PENERAPAN MODUL MATEMATIKA BERBASIS REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 04 TIMPEH KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA 〖Fernandes Dalimunte〗^1,〖Syafni Gustina Sari〗^1 1 Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta Email : fernandesdalimunte@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes, because the learning carried out so far has not been fully linked to activities that are close to students' daily lives, and the unavailability of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) based mathematics learning modules on geometric material. This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in geometric material using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)-based Modules in class V SDN 04 Timpeh. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in the second semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SDN 04 Timpeh. Research instruments include teacher observation sheets and learning achievement tests. Based on observations of teacher activity in cycle I, meeting I obtained a percentage of 67% and at meeting II obtained a percentage of 78%, whereas in cycle II meeting I obtained a percentage of 83% and at meeting II obtained a percentage of 88%. The learning outcomes test in cycle I obtained a class average percentage of 52.81% and experienced an increase in cycle II with a class average percentage of 76.56%. So, it can be concluded that learning using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)-based modules can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 04 Timpeh.
