Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

This research is to test and analyze the effect of career development, emotional intelligence and job motivation on employee performance. This type of research is causative. The study population was civil servants from Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Kota Sungai Penuh. The sampling technique uses census methods. The number of samples is 61 employees. This study uses primary data. Data analysis techniques are multiple linear regression analysis.

 

This study found that: 1) Career development has a positive effect on employee performance. The better the form of career development perceived by employees will certainly improve employee performance. 2) Emotional intelligence has a positive effect on employee performance. The higher the level of emotional intelligence of employees will certainly improve employee performance, 3) Job motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. The higher work motivation possessed by employees will certainly improve employee performance
