PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KOMITMEN ORGANISASI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR (SD) DI KECAMATAN DUA KOTO DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI (Studi : Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Dua Koto, Kabupaten Pasaman)
Abstract
The issues of teachers’ organizational commitment has been negleted in area of elementry school. Theporpuse of this study was to examine the effect of job satisfaction as mediator on the relationship
between emotional intelligence, headmaster leadership and organizational commitment. The numbers
of sample in this study were 115 respondents who were currently working as teachers in elementary
schools located in Dua Koto District, Regency of Pasaman. In order to conduct data analysis, this
study performed SmartPLS. The results of the study found that headmaster leadersip had significant
effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In addition, job satisfaction was found to
have significant effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, job satisfaction was proven as
mediation on the relationship between headmaster leadership and organizational commitment.
However, emotional intelligence did not have significant effect eiter on job satisfaction nor
organional commitment.
