PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA DAN KEPUASAN KELUARGA TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KARIR DENGAN PRESTASI KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA SEKRETARIAT DAERAH KOTA SUNGAI PENUH
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to analyze and to find out whether working satisfaction and family satisfaction affected career development throughout performance achievement as the Intervening Variable at the Civil Servants of the District Secretariat in Sungai Penuh City. The population of this investigation included 102 civil servants who had got married at the district secretariat in Sungai Penuh city. Census method was applied in selecting the sample because the population size was still small. Thus, all of the population represented the sample, or the sample size was similar to the population.By considering multiple linear regression analysis that attributed to SEM method, the findings indicated that working satisfaction, family satisfaction and performance achievement affected career development positively. Then, working satisfaction and family satisfaction also provided a significant positive affect toward performance achievement. Remarkably, further findings revealed that working satisfaction and family satisfaction influenced career development positively throughout performance achievement. In other words, performance achievement variable as the intervening variable was able to mediate the relation of both variables to career development variable.
