PENGARUH KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA BPBD PROPINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

The study objective was to determine the effect of organizational commitment and communication on employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variables. This study uses primary data were taken directly using questionnaires from 118 employees of the Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) of Provinsi Sumatera Barat.This study uses Structural Model Equations Modeling (SEM), where the results of the test data with multiple linear regression through the program Amos 16, found there is a significant positive direct effect of organizational commitment, communication and job satisfaction on the performance of staff members and there is a significant direct positive effect of organizational commitment and communication on job satisfaction. As for indirect effects, this study may also prove that there is a significant positive effect of communication on organizational commitment and employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
