PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA BADAN KEPEGAWAIAN DAERAH KOTA PARIAMAN

Abstract

The objective of this study is efforted to explain the effect of leadership to performance, the effect of motivation to performance, and the effect of satisfaction as intervening variabel among leadership and motivation to performance of employee at  Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Pariaman. Population in this study amount 35 people content all of employee atBadan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Pariaman. Technique of sampling is sensus method because of total population only 35 people using questionnaire, furthermore data processing with validity test and reliability test, for hypotesis test using multiple regression, simple regression and compound regression. The result of study concludes that leadership significant influence and positif to performance, motivation significant influence and positif to performance, satisfationsignificant influence and positif to performance  and satisfaction able to mediate relationship among leadership and motivation to performance of employee at Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Pariaman. The result also proved that have a contribution of leadership, motivation to performance 20.9%, remaining 79.1% a given and explained by another variables excluded in this model. Satisfaction as intervening variable is able to increase the contribution of leadership and motivation variable 13.6%.
