PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA, STRES KERJA DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DENGAN LOCUS OF CONTROL SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI PADA INSPEKTORAT KABUPATEN KERINCI
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the role of locus of control as moderatoron the relationship between job satisfaction, job stress, organizational climate
and organizational commitment. The study population is all employees who
involve at Inspector Office of Kerinci Regency that accounted for 41 employees.
This study used all entire population as respondents. In order to test hypotheses,
this study performs moderated regression analysis. The results of analysis found
that: a) job satisfaction and organizational clime positively and significantly
impact organizational commitment, b) job stress was found to have negative and
significant effect on organizational commitment, c) locus of control did not effect
significantly organizational commitment, d) locus of control was found as
moderating variable on the relationship between job satisfaction and
organizational climete and organizational commitment, dan e) locus of control
was not found as moderating variable on the relationship between job stress and
organizational climete and organizational commitment. The study findings
provide practical contribution that in order to enhancing organizational
commitment of employess future, it is suggested to increase job satisfaction and
organizational climeta and decrease job stress.
